Technology acts a vital part in our modern life, but it can cut both ways. On the upside, technological advances have improved every aspect of our life. For example, jets save us a lot of time when we
travel around the world.
The computer enables us to stay at home making purchases online. Cellphones make it easier for people to reach each other. Moreover, the Internet has virtually turned our planet into a village.
Anyhow, technology has helped us lead a more comfortable life. On the downside, technology can be used for selfish or bad purposes.
That is, it can often be used to commit a variety of crimes. For instance, some people are able to hack into banks and transfer huge amounts of money to their own accounts.
Worse still, when high technology is used in war, it could kill tremendous numbers of people and reduce an entire city to ruins in a few minutes.
Therefore, technology is both an angel and a demon.
