Lately, the media in Taiwan have been running stories 

founded on false information instead of fact, 

as a way to attract viewers' attention. 

They maintain that the public has the right to know, 

so they do not care about people's privacy. 

They report stories about celebrities' personal lives, 

and none of these are really ''news.''

At times they show unfortunate incidents 

again and again to attract a wider audience, 

and this shows they have no sympathy at all.

We should stop tuning in to these programs and 

let mass media know that this insanity has to stop.
