In early February, in Taiwan, you can see each kind of cherry had started blossoms.

The cherry Blossom time were different duo to distribution place altitude above sea level,

topography environment and climatic conditions and other factors, the flowering time will also different.

The cherry variety has dozens types, mainly grows in the warm and temperate zone.

Taiwan was a subtropical climate country, for cherry blossom is a hot area, so, in Taiwan , most of cherry were resistant high temperature varieties.

"Prunus campanulata Maxim. cv. Polypetalous ", "Wushe cherry "," Ali cherry "were all Taiwan native species of cherry blossoms.

"Prunus campanulata Maxim. cv. Polypetalous" also call "Taiwan cherry". It was more resistant high temperature variety.

It was the most of well-known cherry blossom trees in Taiwan. In the Northern Plains, foothills, you can see her figure everywhere.

There are many famous flowers location in Taiwan:

North: Peitou and Wulai, Yangmingshan National Park.

Central: Shei-Pa National Park, Sanyi, Miaoli, Snowy Mountains, Dongshi Forest.

South: the Alishan Forest recreation area, ariely, Pingtung Wutai.

In spring season, cherry blossom has started all over in Taiwan's mountain. This is great hanami weather. Don't miss this beautiful view.
