Although some people may perceive these salaries as exorbitant, this view fails to take into account several factors.

This means that those pursuing these careers are taking a great risk. Second, in order to be successful, sports teams, movie companies,
and other entertainment enterprises need to offer huge salaries to attract highly talented athletes and entertainers.
One more factor that those opposed to rewarding celebrities with high salaries tend to overlook is the amount of revenue they generate for others.
Fans pay big bucks to attend athletic competitions, concerts, and other performances. The revenues from ticket sales amount to vast sums of money,
which should be shared. Not allowing star athletes and entertainers to get their fair share of the profits would be tantamount to exploitation.
