The best book I ever read is《Stone Soup》because I think I have benefited a lot from reading it. The author is Marcia Brown.
The book title is "Stone Soup"--It is a book of fairy tales. She is a distinguished contemporary writer in America. She was versatility writer.
She won the Caldecottgold medal three times. And won the Caldecott Honor book five times:《Stone Soup》，《Henry—Fisherman》，
《Dick Whittington and His Cat》，《Puss in Boots》和《The Steadfast Tin Soldier》. Now, she is a 90 years old artist.
Her works has become the permanent collections of the U.S. National Library.
Summarize the plot
"Stone Soup" is set in a small French village. There were three tired and hungry soldiers approach the villagers for food and a place to rest.
The unknown soldiers frighten the villagers. The villagers hide their food and inform the soldiers that they do not have a place for them to sleep.
The soldiers tell the villagers that they will make soup from three smooth stones. The villagers are excited by this idea and eagerly help the soldiers gather the pot,
water, and stones to make the soup. When the soldiers hint that a few vegetables will make the soup even better,
the excited villagers run home and return with many of the vegetables they had previously hidden.
The soldiers and villagers happily enjoy a huge feast together, the villagers even volunteer to bring meat, bread, and cider to the feast.
After spending the night in the homes of several outstanding members of the village, the villagers and soldiers say their good-byes.
The end of the story finds the once frightened villagers thanking the soldiers for having introduced them to stone soup.

Your review—this fairy tale talked about how to share with each other. Possessions means nothing if you don't share it. When someone need help,
we should give a helping hand. After you have helped someone, and that person really thanks you sincerely, you will feel joyous and satisfied immediately.
Personally, I have help someone before, I have had helped an old lady with all my effort, we shares both happiness and sadness. And when I saw her smiling face, I truly feel that is a very satisfying thing.
I think we should learn to share, because it is one big part of learning itself. In one of the famous Chinese proverb: It is a blessing to give than to receive, sharing with others is the root to true happiness.
